Which EasyBuilder Pro version is required for the cMT2129X?
The exact-model datasheet specifies the Simplified Chinese version of EasyBuilder Pro V6.08.01 or later. Using the latest compatible release is recommended when creating or converting a project.
What Ethernet ports are available on the cMT2129X?
The cMT2129X has two Ethernet interfaces. LAN 1 supports 10/100/1000 Base-T, while LAN 2 supports 10/100 Base-T.
Can both RS-485 ports be used for MPI communication at the same time?
COM2 and COM3 RS-485 2-wire interfaces support MPI at 187.5 kbit/s, but only one of these interfaces can be selected for MPI operation at a time.
What happens when COM3 is configured for RS-232?
When COM3 is selected as RS-232, COM1 can use only its Tx and Rx signals. The COM1 RTS and CTS hardware-flow-control signals are unavailable in this configuration.
Does the cMT2129X support CODESYS control functions?
CODESYS is available as an optional licensed function using the specified CODESYS license. Because the cMT2129X has no CAN port, it cannot provide the CODESYS CANopen Manager function. When CODESYS is enabled, LAN 1 is assigned to CODESYS and is unavailable to the HMI system.
