About Omron D4NL-2HFG-B Safety-door Switch
The D4NL-2HFG-B is an Omron D4NL-series guard-lock safety-door switch designed for monitoring and locking movable guards on industrial machinery. It combines separate door-position and lock-status contacts with a 24 VDC power-to-lock solenoid, mechanical release and a durable IP67 enclosure.

- Power-to-lock operating logic: Locks the safety door when the 24 VDC solenoid is energized and unlocks if solenoid power is removed.
- Separate door and lock monitoring: Provides 3NC door open/closed detection contacts and 2NC lock monitor contacts.
- 1,300 N minimum holding force: Helps keep the machine guard securely locked during operation.
- IP67 enclosure protection: Supports installation in industrial environments exposed to dust and water.
- Two G1/2 conduit outlets: Provides practical cable-routing options for control-panel and machine wiring.
- Orange LED indicator: Accepts 10 to 115 VAC/VDC for clear operating-status indication.
- Flexible operation-key selection: Supports compatible D4DS-K1, K2, K3 and K5 operation keys for different mounting directions; operation keys are sold separately.
Because this is a solenoid-lock model, the door unlocks when solenoid power is interrupted. It should not be used where hazardous motion or another dangerous condition can remain after power is removed.
