Which software edition is required for the TK8072iP?
WEINVIEW specifies the Simplified Chinese edition of EasyBuilder Pro V6.08.01 or later. Confirm that TK8072iP is available in the model selection list before creating or converting a project.
Can I download a project to the TK8072iP through Ethernet?
Yes. Configure the HMI’s IP address, connect it to the network, then open the project in the compatible EasyBuilder Pro edition. Press F7, select Ethernet, enter the HMI IP address and download.
Does built-in power isolation mean the RS-485 port is isolated?
No. Power isolation and communication-port isolation are separate specifications. TK8072iP includes power isolation, but its datasheet lists RS-485 dual isolation as unavailable.
Which TK8072iP terminals are used for a 2-wire RS-485 connection?
On the 9-pin male D-sub connector, COM2 uses pin 1 for Data−, pin 2 for Data+ and pin 5 for GND. Match the controller’s signal definitions and communication settings before connecting.
Does the TK8072iP include EasyAccess 2.0 remote access?
EasyAccess 2.0 is optional. Confirm activation status when ordering; the HMI should not be assumed to include an activated remote-access license.
