Why is MT8106iQ missing from my EasyBuilder Pro model list?
MT8106iQ is a WEINVIEW model for the Chinese market. Use the manufacturer’s Simplified Chinese edition of EasyBuilder Pro; the current official listing specifies V6.10.01 or later. An international or third-party-branded edition may not include this model.
Are MT8106iQ and MT8106iQ (V2e) the same hardware?
No. WEINVIEW lists them separately, with different processor, flash-memory and display specifications. Check the unit’s label and corresponding specifications before ordering or preparing a replacement project.
How do I download a project to the MT8106iQ over Ethernet?
Connect the HMI to the network and configure its IP address. In the compatible EasyBuilder Pro edition, open the project, press F7, select Ethernet, enter the HMI IP address and download.
Why is COM1 hardware flow control unavailable when COM3 uses RS-232?
COM3 RS-232 uses connector pins shared with COM1 RTS/CTS. In this configuration, COM1 supports Tx and Rx only. Check the controller’s flow-control requirements before wiring.
What panel thickness and installation space does the MT8106iQ require?
The maximum mounting-panel thickness is 4.5 mm. Provide minimum clearances of 15 mm above, 50 mm below and 15 mm on each side, plus sufficient enclosure space for cables and ventilation.
